Civil War era US Cavalry horse tack often displayed puffy hearts! The reasoning? They were beautiful, could deflect objects that might dismantle the harness system, and recognized the soldiers' heavy hearts.

These rare pieces are authentic brass Civil War era bridle rosettes and make the most special neck adornments. Each with its own story, they may have small scratches or dings, not unlike our own hearts.

Included with each buckle is a vintage Wrangler Denim Twilly scarf or bolo (depending on size of opening).
