A house, some land, and a few buildings that have been here a lot longer than we have. We are putting it back together so you can come stay in it.
THE PROPERTY
WHAT IS THE OLDENBURG
For a while we honestly did not know, so we asked the internet whether it should be a rental property or SUNDAY SUPPER headquarters, and the internet had opinions.
Turns out it's both. There is more than one building on this property, which means there is room for a studio and room for you to come stay.
The pieces get made here. The table gets set here. And when the work is done for the day, somebody else gets to pull up a chair.

THE HISTORY
SUNDAY SUPPER has always been about things that already lived a life. A quilt somebody finished by hand in 1940, denim that already did the work. A house is the same idea, just bigger.
We are not making this place look old. It IS old. Everything we touch here gets the same treatment the textiles get: taken apart with respect, put back with the history still legible.
